I finally managed to boot into leopard, but now I get a strange display when leopard is finished booting(see attachment) the patterns are not always the same.

When I boot with -x the display is ok, but leopard is very slow and sound & lan don't work.

Is this because of my videocard or something else?
I have a ATI Radeon HD3850
i selected the ATI 38x0 driver package at install, also tried without but no difference

specs:
Asus A8NE
AMD Athlon 3500+
2 GB RAM
Realtek ALC655 @ nVIDIA nForce4
nVIDIA nForce4 LAN Controller (PHY: Realtek RTL8201CL/CP)

ok, try with this file (http://www.mediafire.com/?zdjdz9zlltk). The zip contains the prepatched kext for 3850.

at boot press f8 and type -s you will see the cmd prompt, now type

mount -uw / (enter)
rm -r /system/library/extensions/natit.kext (enter)
rm -r /system/library/extensions/Atiradeonx2000.kext (enter)
reboot

download Kexthelper (http://www.cheetha.net/Kext_Helper/Software_files/Kext%20Helper%20b7.zip)
extract in your desktop the previous file (3850 kext) open kexthelper and drag&drop the kext to install type your password install and reboot.

kexthelper web , look there web (http://www.cheetha.net/Kext_Helper/Software.html)

I downloaded and installed Leo4all v.2 and it runs OK, so this problem is solved for me
Anyway, thanks br492 for the reply, and thank you roisoft for the 3850 kext, I installed it and it works fine.

Also a big thanks to eddie11c for the Leo4all v2, the only leopard release that runs on my computer so far. My sound isn't working but I'll try to find something for that issue.
