Toest an iDVD cannotstart without any error message, wow crashes, iphoto work ok but crashes when i try to print fotos -i am able to print from other apps. it is not dvdwriter issue because liquidcd works perfectly.
I run Marvin on everething it founds lots of cpuids, but nothin is incripted so it cannot patch.
Maybe i have to pats plists manually, but i dont know how to do it...
I've installed almost all the updates - the only one i dhaven't is security update -ithink it will ruin my system because of sse2 only proc.
Please help ppl!

take a look here to fix your toast and it may fix the others

and for wow read this
it's easy to fix
get Marvin's AMD Utility and select "Create patcher package"
and let it scan /Library/Frameworks
it will create a folder on your desktop
afterwards select patch all cpuid's using cpuid file
and again select the folder /Library/Frameworks
and point to the cpuid file it created in the folder on your desktop
and voila, all games will now work on AMD Leopard 10.5.2
enjoy!

Hi,
have you been able to fix your issues?
I have sevaral problems as well on sse2 and ordered sse3 proc on ebay yesterday.
Anyone tells me that will fix everything as there are still sse2 only problems.
Would be interesting if you have managed it with your proc.
I'll tell you if sse3 did it for me, hope it will be here the next days.
Maybe you could also try to update, i bought a new amd64 venice now, there are still some around for a little money.
bye,
p

i figured out what was wrong with toast 9 in my system
i have (had) 4GB of ram
3 of them are 667 and one was 533 at 4-4-4
as soon as i took out the 533 stick my system came to life
and runs fast than before
i know that isn't your problem but i thought i would share

You've got the same motherboard as me, I also recently upgraded to SSE3 :-D
I bought an 4200 X2 939 off ebay. It works pretty well if you boot with IDLEHALT=0 to avoid the random glitches caused by the dual core. My system xbenches at around 120 with this processor.

I use a Athlon 64 X2 4200+ on a 939 Socket as well, and it works fine. :-)
