Well I've never owned a MacBook, but I do own a 15" laptop and I have to say the screen size is PERFECT!! iWork, iLife ect.. just a breeze to work with on it.

If I were you I would go for the 15". For me, it is very portable and can even fit in my OLD Dell laptop bag!

But of course, it's totally up to you, thats just my opinion. They are all very powerful computers, but for things like Video editing, Photoshopping ect, I would recommend quite a very powerful MBP, but for just general use, the mid range would do IMO.
