Remove complete Intel code?
Does anyone know a method how to remove the Intel code from ALL system components of OS X? I need this for my Mac Mini G4 and my Powerbook.
Apps like XSlimmer only trim Applications, not the system components. I read somewhere from a terminal command how to remove code from UB files, but I haven't found it anymore. Theoretically there is no need for Intel code at all on a PPC machine - there is no way to execute it in any case. If only slimming the standard apps of Leopard will save nearly 1 GB, slimming the whole system could save a lot more. 2 Opteron systems: OSx86 10.5.8, Andy's 9.8.0 kernel, Asus A8N-SLI Premium, Opteron 185 o'clocked @ 2 x 2,95 GHz (2nd system 2.6 GHz), ATI Radeon HD2600XT 256MB Dual-Monitor 2x HP L2035, 4 GB RAM, Griffin FireWave as main audio device, Marvell + nForce LAN, Asus U3S6 USB3/SATA6 card, 5,5 TB harddisk, Firewire 800 card, Apple Remote + eHome IR receiver, 2x Wacom serial graphics tablet, Canon Pixma iP4700, Logitech Internet Navigator wireless keyboard/mouse combination. Maybe "ditto --arch ppc" is what you're looking for.
Mac OS X 10.6.3 • 2.8 GHz Intel Core I7 860 • ASUS P7P55D • 2 GB 2 Ghz DDR3 • ATI RADEON XFX 4890 1GB • 2 x Hitachi 160 GB Serial-ATA • PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-112 • LaCie Desktop Harddrive 750 GB USB |

naquaada, how are you doing bro? hope everything is great.
What about installations for PPC only, like 10.4 for PowerPC. I am not sure about Leopard but Tiger CDs for PPC (at least i think so) are without Intel code. |

I'm NOT sure if this way works for you
In my case I used CleanMyMac app and it clean up all PPC code Perhaps you can use this app to remove all Intel code 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean.
