I don't know if this is the proper place to post this, but I'm sorry if it isn't!
So, I installed Snow Leopard on my laptop, which has AMD CPU. The system works quite nicely, except with a few problems.
First of all, I can't start my computer, after I've installed updates in the Software Update. I think this is related to the kernel, but I'm not sure, since I am a total newbie in the Mac world. I heard I could need a "boot cd", but where I can get it?
Secondly, I have problems with my sound output. I used the AzaliaAudio driver, and I can see the volume control, but it doesn't do anything. Also I have 2 outputs, but both are silent. This problem isn't so serious as I usually listen to music with my music player, but this question is stuck in my head.
And the last question is, Why does my computer make a Double kernel panic while using µTorrent? Is it also related to the kernel, and will upgrading the OS cure it?
Thanks in Advance.
