At 8pm local time on the 29 March millions of people in some of the world's major cities will use the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming. |

I'm participating.
I heard that people in Sydney did that and the lights turned off was equivalent to taking off 45,000 cars off the road. |

Darn, I was going to start this thread as well, thanks though. =)
I'm participating too. I've been involved in urging action for addressing global warming for the past 10 years. Take action now buddies!!! =) Have any of you heard about the CERN dispute with the particle accelerator in Geneva, Switzerland? Hawaiian Court. A lot of people are against it. It's shocking. =O |

It isn't black here. Seems like all their datacenters aren't updated simultaneously.
I know how it looks though. It's not the first time that google participates, they have done it before. I believe they do it every once in a while now. :-) |

You have 1/2 hour left bhast2. Google page is only black if you go to their universal search page. If you go to a particular country page for example, Google China, the page is still white.
