FYI this thread is actually about updating to 10.5.4 from a previously installed version. What you should be searching for is a premade distribution for AMD machines, such as LawlessPPC, Leo4All v4.1. You can find them in the usual places easy enough
The best advice I can give you is to know your machine. I'm talking about learning the actual chipset names that exist on your motherboard along with all of your attached hardware. This knowledge is invaluable when selecting the correct drivers on installation.
