im trying to get 5.1 output from my alc888. my motherboard is a ipilp-lc and i believe its an ICH8. most of the drivers i find appear to work but there is no sound. i can get 2 channel sound with both the azalia kext and with voodoohda. but nothing else seems to work. any help will be very much appreciated.



edit: lspci says its an ICH7
