This allows me to run my Phenom II X6 1090T without cpus=1.

Thanks for this kext. Had serious sound distortions before, making audio unusable.

However there are still minimal distortions. Do you think it would help to recompile with shorter sync intervals?

If you decide to update this you may also wish to rename it to Multi-Core Optimizer, as it works with 6-core too.

I read that it's NOT for the older Turion 64 X2's, if not these kexts then what will fix the panic while using Xcode on 10.6.7?

I just purchased one of these and would like to convert to OSX right away. I have not found a way to do it yet online at the HCL sites for the 722. Would you be so kind as to point me in the right direction.
