I guess there are lots of variants of the Asus K50IN. Mine is a bit different in some parts, yours is also that way, as well as for flip360. For RGGG, he has a K60IN. Sound is not working for me too 
It would be great if we could try the variant. I have looked at the AsusK50IN.kext, and it has some patching that is similar to the ALC662.kext that RGGG has pointed-out.
I must say, that using the ALC662.kext cause a havoc and panic all around my whole system, and rendered me in a necessity of a whole reinstallation to recover. But the AsusK50IN.kext did not cause a freezing in my system.
