Then - don't try with k50in boot cd since (from what I could see trying to install OSX on a few K50IN laptops) it usually doesn't work. Download iBoot from here: (remember to choose NVIDIA version) http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/
It will boot your retail DVD, at least I hope so, if it doesn't - try to add some flags like: -v, -f etc.
When you install the system - download combo update to 10.6.2, then 10.6.4 - none of them using update tool of Snow Leopard (you can find it on google). Before you start installing it all, run Chameleon installer package and when all updates are installed (it's very important to run it before using them because sometimes it would not run later) use it to put bootloader on your system partition. http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic....&t=208&start=0 (better use RC4)
When all your updates are installed and Chameleon is here, use files I attached to this post, it should work flawlessly. (but before first restart put also http://osx86.sojugarden.com/files/Ex...ement.kext.zip to s/l/e. After the first successful restart you can delete it.
PS Use Kext Utility to rebuild permissions before restarting.

PS2: for working wifi kext - look a few posts up~
