Compaq F500 install issues

Ok I have no idea what I did before but I got the install to work and was using OSX no problem. I insalled a few kexts and rebooted. No more mac for me :-(

So I decided to try again. I cant get to the install screen anymore I have tried 5 distros. I finally got the LawlessPPC version with high hopes. Most of the time I get stuck at AppleNforceATA: sata phy reset done and it just hangs there

Specs:

Presario F579WM

Specification AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor TK-53
Northbridge NVIDIA GeForce Go 6100 rev. A2
Southbridge NVIDIA nForce 410/430 MCP rev. A3
Memory Type DDR2
Memory Size 1024 MBytes
SATA HDD
I think the DVD is also but not sure.

Any idea how to get this working??

I would love to get back in to the system.

Thanks
Jon
