Compaq v6211AU: iPC Osx86 Installation - Please Help

Okay, so after numerous failed attempts on my desktop, I am going to try to install iPC on my laptop. The first issue that came up was that at boot up of the install dvd i get lots of Apple PS2 controller errors, assuming it's because of lack of a USB keyboard.

I am going to get a USB Keyboard and mouse and try again soon but I wanted to ask if there are any other things I need to take care of during install?

Here's the specs:

This was discussed in another thread recently, but the kernel support for AMD Turion CPUs is not available yet through the voodoo kernel that is used with iPC. However I have seen at the WIKI's Hardware Compatibility List iDeneb v1 works with Turion CPUs.
