I've been using the "hidden EFI partition" to keep my bootloader's files for some time.
It's a quite nice and "clean" solution, although there's one disadvantage - every time you want to install new theme etc. you need to go to terminal, do the "sudo" thing, create directory for mounting EFI partition and finally mount it. Then, after you've finished doing changes to it, you again need to open terminal and authorize as root (if you accidentally closed terminal window), unmount EFI partition and remove the directory you've created before.
It was very annoying for me, so I wrote a simple application, that allows to do those things with... let's say two clicks. I think that someone may find it useful, so I posted it here.
You simply launch it, type-in your password, and then you can mount/unmount EFI partition from it's dock menu (right click on "EFI Partition"'s dock icon, and you're here). If your EFI partition location is other than "/dev/disk0s1" you can change it in application's "Info.plist".
