Well, all we need to get better AMD support is a better AMD kernel. EE is a great piece of software, but it cant do much for AMD users without a better kernel. I can boot retail SL dvd without problems with EE, but I get KP on booting.
I tried installing OSX SL on my system via 5 different methods, none of them worked. I'm able to install retail on my AMD system, but I cant boot the system due to a KP. No matter what I try to change, I always end up with KP.

It's not good that coders are all pro Intel - there is no challenge in installing OSX to Intel systems, it can be done retail and rather easy. People are looking forward to some SL distros that are being prepared ATM, but they will not do much without a better kernel.

I have no experience in programming so I cant help much with that

I have xcode, but dont have the slightest idea what do with it

And as I remember, I need a working SL to work on SL kernel, right?
