ES2L Wrong CPU Speed
I just completed my first hackintosh install using a Celeron E3300 and a G31M-ES2L rev 2 Gigabyte board. I have noticed that in the BIOS the Gigabyte board uses a 9x multiplier resulting in a reported 1.8Ghz clock frequency. This should be a 2.5Ghz dual core chip. When I go into the overclocking section I can set the multiplier between 9 and 12. This seems odd to me because the multiplier should be 12.5 stock as I understand it. In OSX "About this Mac" says it is a 2.5Ghz Core 2 Duo. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
