EVGA 780i (sound, network, gfx ALL PERFECT) but only in solo mode
Hay all. My Pc specs are in my sig.
leopard works perfectly and ROCK SOLID but only when I disable three cores on my quad, has anybody got leopard to work on a quad with all cores enabled? if yes please tell me the needed steps in order to get it working, I'm using iATKOS build DVD version 5i. bootloader used is chameleon (the one from the same DVD build). I also have a pure retail OSX DL DVD disc that I bough but I don't know how to use that one so I went with iATKOS v5i instead. Thank you everyone ps: REALLY LOVING MY FIRST Hackintsosh |

PC_EFI mode on the iATKOS DVD seems to hang my leopard install randomly when it is finished installing.
working bios configuration for anyone wanting to test this out on a EVGA 780i mobo is like this: - APIC mode: 1.4 - SATA ports mode must be eSATA on all of them if not you'll get non detected SATA HDD (without this mode enabled in my bios config I can't get leopard to see my WD SATA HDD.) - Speedstep disabled - CPU enhanced halt state disabled - Thermal control disabled - CPU advanced settings must have Core 1 2 3 disabled 0 is enabled by default so you can't change it my working iATKOS setup is like this Chameleon GPT MBR bootloader Kernel choose the one by Fassl DSMOS for decryptor Disabler.kext selected OHR.kext enabled Drivers select all that has nforce Nvkushd for vga I didn't do any post install 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean.
