Ok, having random crashes with programs listed in the title. Running hazard 10.6.2 and used Marvin's AMD Utility right after install and after installing a new program such as vlc or firefox. I have watched whole movies in vlc without a crash but sometimes it will crash 20 min into a movie. I can't figure out why. Anyone have a suggestion for a more stable system? I am using Legacy kernel and I hear it does not do on the fly patching hence the need for mau. help?

Nevermind. Patching cpuid in single user mode seemed to have worked. i have a VERY stable system now! Oh, and stopped using vlc. It was great in windows but is known to crash on even real macs. So I'm just using NicePlayer and Perian for Quicktime. So far so good! ;-)
