Update. Removed aty_init, and removed all injectors. Will now boot on dvi. Graphics enabler works perfectly booting from VGA. I can then plug in the dvi. Screen will flash, and come up on dvi. I can then remove the VGA and it's fine until I reboot.

So I'm no further than before, except I'm using EFI thru graphicsenabler=y.
I'm thinking if I have another monitor hooked up, it will work fine. Can't try that until I get another monitor.
