first problem, I have installed a dell 1395 wifi card into the acer and its not detected, also tried the PIN20 trick by covering in tape,but still the wifi light does not light up and no device detected in OSX.

I know this card is compatible as its from an inspiron 1525 which runs osx (including wifi) very well...

wot else to try ?

looks like its the same card and problem as chris was having a few pages ago

this card works in my dell inspiron in osx so why not here!

ive also tested the card (with pin20 trick) in windows and it works fine and the killswitch has no effect, its always on. so this must be a driver issue in osx
