CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (SSE2 only)
MB - Gigabyte G8-K8NF (nforce-4 chipset
Audio - AC97 (onboard) -- driver from DVD
Ethernet - Nvidia4 onboard (forcedeth)
HD - SATA 7200 75GB ST380811AS - Seagate
DVD RW - SONY DRU-820A ATAPI/IDE
Video - Sapphire (ATI) 2600XT 256MB with CI & QE working via natit/netkas.org
- Had to boot install with "-x" to get video working; installed drivers from netkas and video is perfect
- Default 'forcedeth' driver on DVD seemed to crash persistently and predictably after moving 1-2GB; installed the latest from insanelymac (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=12933&st=0&p=82071&#entry82071 ) and all is good.
- Had to use MBR; GUID would not boot, got the 'b0' and none of the workarounds would fix.
The audio is a little weird for the system "beep", sounds more like static. But, itunes plays back fine.
