MacMike since your using the Voodoo kernel you need to get a Get a copy of the 10.5.5 seatbelt.kext and install it to replace the one from 10.5.6 you should find it on the DVD.

yes that will stop the kernel panics when you open DMGs the panics are caused by the seatbelt.kext not being with the right kernel it was made to run on 10.5.5 and running it on 10.5.6 makes it panic when you open DMGs so this kernel is up to date so it works with 10.5.6 seatbelt.kext

http://laptopneeds.forumotion.co.uk/...f8a2cecce10c03 It is 9.6.0 Voodoo style kernel with many improvements... You can also read the features there The reason you get a KP is because seatbelt.kext does not match the kernel (which is responsable for sandboxing... auto used on activation of disk images) My new kernel will fix it... 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean.
