help with a8v-vm se

hi all, i installed the ipc 10.5.6 DL version on my a8v-vm se and it all works great except lan.
its supposed to be RTL8201CL but when i choose the driver it doesnt work. somewhere i read to use the via rhine driver, if i do that it works but then i get a kernal panic when i open dmg files.
so either i have lan and internet or i get kernel panics, hope someone can help.
the hardware is:
a8v-vm se motherboard with x2 amd processor
and NVidia 7800GT card.

hope someone here can help me would really need the lan and being able to mount files without kernal panic sad.gif

yes that will stop the kernel panics when you open DMGs the panics are caused by the seatbelt.kext not being with the right kernel it was made to run on 10.5.5 and running it on 10.5.6 makes it panic when you open DMGs so this kernel is up to date so it works with 10.5.6 seatbelt.kext

Install my latest kernel package from:
http://laptopneeds.forumotion.co.uk/...f8a2cecce10c03
It is 9.6.0 Voodoo style kernel with many improvements...
You can also read the features there
The reason you get a KP is because seatbelt.kext does not match the kernel (which is responsable for sandboxing... auto used on activation of disk images)
My new kernel will fix it...
