1. You do not want to install "Mac" - a Mac or Macintosh is the computer, hardware that has been produced by Apple - no software. What you want to install is OS X.

About 10GB minium space requierement.

Use Google & the forum search there are lot's of ways, methods and tutorials.
It's even easier done, as it is on an internal drive, as you do not need to care about your relevant controller chip to be supported, when using an external device.
