HP Pavilion dv9894ca
Hello everyone, lately I've been trying to make my HP notebook into an iPC. For some reason, whenever I boot from the install disc I made from the .iso, I get the following error message:
I'm asking if anyone can assist me with this problem, I know that the iPC community usually gives good advice and IT assistance. My PC specs: HP Pavilion dv9894 AMD Turion64 x2 TL-60 CPU Nforce 520 chipset Nvidia 8400m GS video card 4 gb DDR-2 memory 1x 500 GB HDD 1x 320 GB HDD (where the Mac OS will be installed) Thanks in advance for your assistance. at boot press f8 and type cpus=1 and hit enter..... enjoy

Seems to have done the trick for the processor, but now the installer is getting stuck on the Synaptics Touchpad driver. It just stops the installation. Is there a patch or anything I need to make this work?
