Thanks Hara, Pacifist worked like a charm. Never even crossed my mind to try it.
I'd like to request that the final ppf include pre Quicktime 7.5.5/iTunes 8.0.2 (but later than itunes 8.0, i love genius) for those of us using nvidia 8xxx series graphics cards. The mouse lag is a small annoyance but it has me using my laptop for music. Hopefully Apple will fix this soon.
