I recommend uninstalling the apps on both your computer and ipod/iphone and trying again by following the directions. if you still need help post again.

IMPORTANT: I was just informed that the PDANet app on your iPod/iPhone is a TRIAL. I cannot post how to workaround this but a google search will provide you with the solution
