I suspected it already WAS normal (albeit not as OSX-friendly).
OK, so you got it to install via iDeneb and the Voodoo kernel? What kind of problem are you having then, post-install? The "not allowed" sign over the Apple at bootup? It appears to boot but then goes black and you have to hold down the power button? "Please reset your computer" (Kernel Panic)?
We need more information on the problem you're having before we can resolve what you need. Aside from that questionable nForce, it sounds like your drivers are in order.
