leopard 5i on latitude D800

I have been trying to install iaktos 10.5.5 on my dell d800 laptop. SO far I have tried almost every possble combination of customization options, but still get either panics or system reboots after the installation is done.

Has anybody sucessfully installed the version of the OS on a dell d800. If so, can I get some details as to what options or other necessary actions need to be taken to get a good working system. Thanks in advance.

I dont know if all the steps provided by the link are relevant to 10.5.5 iAtkos. I have two scenarios. If I chose the voodo lkernel or fassl, I get the panics. If I select the 9.2.0 toh kernel, the system on post-install boot displays quite a few messages and then the machine reboots itself.

What is the difference between these two scenarios (with possible fixes)?

Thanks.
