So the FrameBuffer driver hasn't been working for you?

The GA-P31-DS3L ?
It has no onboard gfx. I would get some 8- or 9-series GeForce they work like charm just with adding an EFI Hex String to the bootloader configuration. 
But I can confirm that it's stable on use and I got it even working allmost perfectly with OS X.
