MacOS Snow Leopard on AMD?
Hello Guys,
As you may figure out I am really new to this. I need to try and install MacOS on my AMD based system. I have AMD PhenomII 550 (3.1GHz) black edition, and Mainboard AsRock with AMD790G chipset. The questions for what file shall I look to download and what shall I be aware of before installing? Cheers |

For snow leopard, be sure to set your CPU Frequency Multiplier in BIOS to x15 or less, this will downclock your CPU to 3GHz or less, any more GHz and you could face quite a few kernel panics. Remember to set your SATA Mode to AHCI in SATA Configuration, in BIOS.
