MSI Platinum P45

Hi,
I have a Gigabyte EP35-DS3L and I would like to upgrade to MSI Platinum P45.
What do you think about MSI Platinum P45? Is Snow Leopard compatible? I would be grateful for any help! Thank you!

Very much supported, yes. There is a thread about that particular board here on the forum so you can explore it for more info. The board itself, as reported, is great for running SL.

milanca,

I saw you stated there was a thread about the MSI p45 Platinum motherboard on this site. Being a noobie, maybe I missed something but when I search on the "MSI p45 Platinum" phrase, I come up totally empty. Where is the thread? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Sorry guys, i've made a little mistake. I swapped two boards, what i was thinking of was the thread about MSI P43:

http://www.infinitemac.com/f57/msi-p...ts-love-t4066/

But it shouldn't make any major difference, or any difference at all; i'm almost certain. You should check on this thread also. I think P45 platinum is also very well supported, newer board and imho should be even a bit better. But lets see what the community says about it or wait for any of its owners to post their experience.

Regards!
