personally i would go the vanilla route on this new system here a quick description of how to do it. Its really easy if you already have a working set up.

the issues your having seem to be config related so the first place i would check is the bios and really scrutinize how its set up switch off all devices you dont need or could possible prevent a successfull install. Turn of all com/serial ports etc. |
