don't use distros to install mac os x. Use nawcom modCD 0.3.1 and a retail 10.6.0 or 10.6.3 snow leopard to install it. I did that on my amd machine and I will never try to install these crappy distros again. Just know your machine specs and have everything you need to have a working system.
