Please help me install an Audio/Graphic Driver for my new Hackintosh
Ok so here's the problem, I'm installing iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 on my Compaq Presario SR5250NX (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...roduct=3548669) and I can't seem to get any Audio to work and my max resolution is 1024x768 instead of my monitors native 1280 x 1024 resolution. Can somebody please help me!! I've already tried using VoodooHDA but when I try to use the preference pane icon, it says "Preferences Error: Could not load VoodooHDA preference pane." I'm a total noob to any of this and I've installed almost any kext I could find that might help but none of them work for the Audio or VIdeo.
Here's this info just incase it's helpful... 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Intel Corporation 82945G/GZ/P/PL Memory Controller Hub [8086:2770] (rev 02) 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation 82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:2772] (rev 02) 00:1b.0 Audio device [0403]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller [8086:27d8] (rev 01) 00:1c.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) PCI Express Port 1 [8086:27d0] (rev 01) 00:1c.1 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) PCI Express Port 2 [8086:27d2] (rev 01) 00:1d.0 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB UHCI Controller #1 [8086:27c8] (rev 01) 00:1d.1 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB UHCI Controller #2 [8086:27c9] (rev 01) 00:1d.2 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB UHCI Controller #3 [8086:27ca] (rev 01) 00:1d.3 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB UHCI Controller #4 [8086:27cb] (rev 01) 00:1d.7 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB2 EHCI Controller [8086:27cc] (rev 01) 00:1e.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation 82801 PCI Bridge [8086:244e] (rev e1) 00:1f.0 ISA bridge [0601]: Intel Corporation 82801GB/GR (ICH7 Family) LPC Interface Bridge [8086:27b8] (rev 01) 00:1f.1 IDE interface [0101]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) IDE Controller [8086:27df] (rev 01) 00:1f.2 IDE interface [0101]: Intel Corporation 82801GB/GR/GH (ICH7 Family) SATA IDE Controller [8086:27c0] (rev 01) 00:1f.3 SMBus [0c05]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) SMBus Controller [8086:27da] (rev 01) 01:04.0 Communication controller [0780]: Conexant HSF 56k Data/Fax Modem [14f1:2f20] 02:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Hello,
I would look @ www.kexts.com there are very usefull kexts! For your graphicscard i already found one: http://www.kexts.com/view/229-natit.html The easiest way to get your soundcard working is to try an other voodoohda, there are some which are optimized for alc888. But there are more possibilities to get it working. One way is to use HDAEnabler + an patched AppleHDA.kext. The other and the best way is to get it working with an patched DSDT + AppleHDA.kext. If you have some questions i will try to help you. ![]() Greetz |

Audio not working
Hi,
I have a uniwill M31EI laptop with SL 10.6.6 64bit ON OS X runs smoothly except for sound. I have tried latest and older VoodooHDA.kext but none worked out . 1/ LSPCI RESULTS lspci -v -nn 0:1b.0 Audio device [0403]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller [8086:27d8] (rev 02) Subsystem: Uniwill Computer Corp Unknown device [1584:9072] 2. I have tried editing AppleAzalia following this guide and using my soundcard details (0x27d88086) and (0x15849072) with no luck either. It seems AppleAzalia only works on 32bit anyway. I am not sure what to try next. Thanks for your help. 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. Last edited by reirracon; 03-17-2011 at 11:44 PM. |
