Hi

I have a new PC and have now given up on trying to install OSX on it (thread for that http://www.infinitemac.com/f5/still-...stalled-t4016/); it seems the mobo may be the problem but I'm not really sure. I'm going to sell my nice new machine and start from scratch and get something nice built that i KNOW will work with OSX.

I'm looking to run a good quality quad core (Q9550 assuming they are OK with OSX86) and ideally want 8gb of ram and a reasonable graphics card (kind of 9600GT spec ish).

Can anyone recommend a good quality system spec for me that will amost certainly run OSX iPC, Jas, or iAtkos without too much messing around or still waiting for root messages etc.

Swap that mobo for an Intel chipset like P35/45 or X48/58 should be fine I think
