here my system specs for testing: Every OS X booting HD has two bootable systems and a shared partition for both - very handy for experiments.

Asus A8N-SLI Premium
nForce 4 SLI chipset
2 GB Dual-Channel RAM 400 MHz
320 GB IDE for MacOS booting
500 GB SATA for MacOS data
Radeon X1600Pro PCI-Express
Audio Realtek ALC850
nForce LAN Marvell 88E1115
2nd LAN Marvell 88E0001
SiliconImage SiI3114 Raid Controller

I have two identical systems of this type, with an 3700+ and an 4000+ San Diego. Every component except the X1600 was working out of the box with RC1. nForce IDE/SATA/LAN working 100%. Networking Leopard-Leopard and Leopard-Tiger is working. SiliconImage 3114 is not working, was former supported by AppleVIAATA.kext. It's installed, but still not recognized. Marvell 88E0001 needs skge.kext, works in Tiger, not tested in Leopard.

Asus A8N-E FM
Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego
nForce 4 Standard Chipset
1 GB Dual-Channel RAM 400 MHz
500 GB SATA for MacOS
Radeon X1600Pro PCI-Express
Audio Realtek ALC655
LAN Realtek RTL8201CL

Note: This is a Fujitsu-Siemens OEM board. Installing made problems at first, had the 1-minute-left bug. After the second try with overwriting (like explained in the wiki) installer said the installation was failed, like on a friend's A8N-SLI Premium with an 4000+. After I restored an image which was created on the Premium board everything is ok. Networking Leopard-Leopard and Leopard-Tiger is working.

Asus K8N-E Deluxe
Athlon 64 3400+ Socket 754 Clawhammer, SSE2 only
nForce 3-250 chipset
2 GB Single-Channel-RAM 333 MHz
320GB IDE for booting MacOS
300GB IDE for MacOS data
Radeon X1600Pro AGP
Audio Realtek ALC850
nForce 3 LAN Marvell 88E1115
SiliconImage SiI3114 Raid controller

You see, the components are the same ones like on the Premium, so also on this board every component is working. But no AGP support, the X1600 is recognized as PCI. But I have QE/CI/Mode selection. Networking was working, but not anymore, the system is rather crappy now (to many patching I tried to rewrite the Leopard RC1 image which I made on the Premium and replaced the kernel with ToH 9.0.0. It was booting till the end, resolution was switched to my TFT native resolution, but I only got a blue screen with mouse cursor. If I moved it in the right bootom corner where I have Exposé everytime I got a bang out of the speakers I tried a bit with AGPGart and some AGP patches for leopard, but they led to a kernel panic.

P.S.: If I should move this maybe a <bit> too long post to another beta thread, tell me
