USAGE NOTES ... Well, after a week of using my netbook with OSX, I can say overall the experience is quite good, and the OS is very stable on the machine. But there's a few setbacks in my opinion, which can be caused maybe by my choices in the setup during installation:

-I find the VoodooHDA to be considerably less enjoyable than my XP driver for the sound - I found the sound to be quite hollow during playback of streaming movies I was watching... haven't played with it, there's not much settings I can adjust anyway...

-Heat: under XP, after 2 hours of a movie playback for instance, the netbook is cool, slightly warm on the left side with some warm air coming from the side of the case... but I'm surprised how cool it remains. Under OSX, both the left and the right side, on each side of the trackpad, and the bottom, are really warm, to the point of making it uncomfortable on my lap or when I carry the computer around. The difference is considerable to the point I almost feel I could slide off the stickers at right side of the trackpad with a finger because the glue underneath it is warm. I mean the laptop works well and doesn't seem to suffer from this, the CPU reaches 50C under load and that's nothing compared to the 90C it can withstand but the computer becomes really warm. I haven't tried reinstalling without speedstep at this point. I wonder if people are getting similar results... If someone has an NC10 or N120 I'd like to know if you find it warm or not...

-Battery life: Is less in OSX than XP but still, after 2 hours I had 50% battery left, and I haven't really timed anything but it looks like it's going to be between 3-4 hours...

-Trackpad: I got used to it but I can't trigger the 'right click' by using 2 fingers at once on the pad... haven't played too much with the settings either but still. For intense editing and formatting in word processing for instance I prefer a mouse anyway...

So that's it for now! Thanks!
