Of course, when you have an external DVD or hdd, there are other ways to install, including a retail SL.

OSX is quite enjoyable on these netbooks, and I recommend it, with your current OS for backup. I like to use my XP for the battery life and I find it a bit more responsive on my 1 gb ram. As support improves on OSX, I think it will be my OS of choice in the near future. It's really up to Apple to make it available to the public and i think their OS deserves to be on our netbooks and laptops. In the meantime, I guess we'll do it ourselves.
