Well, the thing is, the only thing that shows up in the output devices window is HD Audio Device, I don't remember seeing any internal speaker option. I also installed this on my desktop and I had to change to the external speaker option, so I'm going to see where that is on the desktop and compare with the laptop. (I have different sound cards on both though)

UPDATE: Well, on my laptop all that shows up is the HD Audio Device, no options for internal/external. Also, apparently, I cannot have the HDAEnabler.kext and AppleHDA.kext installed at the same time or else nothing will show up. Last, and maybe least, I read on some forum (probably here or insanelymac) that if your headphone/mic ports are vertical then your audio is integrated and if they are horizontal, your audio is PCI. My audio ports are horizontal, and apparently therefore my audio is PCI. Hope that helps.
I think at this point it may be easier to do the audio codec dump from Linux, so if you guys can't help with this one, can you tell me how to get/install the codec dump?
Thanks for sticking w/ me.
