With my new understanding of the settings what i was selecting that worked was all kernels and all cmos fixes. To this i added ati drivers and alc889a audio.
No difference when booted up. Still no audio output device. Restart worked fine. I still only have 1280x1024 resolution offered - i have a 2560x1600 monitor. It identifies my graphics adapter as radeon 4890. I think it is xfx 4830 or 50 definitely not 90.
main problem seems to be just no audio seems stable and reliable
i am booting sl from the hazard boot loader. I would like to dual boot with windows 7 but without more research i dont know how to. Whether its as simple using easybcd to add and entry for osx to the windows MBR?????? etc. any ideas? |
