snow on HP 6720s - can't install

i have a HP 6720s laptop with an intel core 2 duo @1.6 G, 3 gb of ram, integrated video card. i try everything i read but it just can be installed. a try using a stick,a dvd dual layer and a stick and a dvd, but nothing (http://www.infinitemac.com/f57/guide...-usb-pc-t3859/). when loads, on the screen appears chameleon an i have to choose between "Mac OS X" -volume where mac is installed and "Untitled" - ? i think the installation dvd. after i choose the second variant on the screen apears "can't match kernel with cpu" error. what do i have to do in order to install mac snow leopard.
my only operating system is Mac Leopard 10.5.6

If I am correct, you have to partition your HD and install SL there and modify it to be able to boot with correct kernel (a modified one of course, ie Vanilla)

hope this helps you out.
