I just install Snow Leopard on M4N72-E. How ? lol
I take the Hazard Release 10.6.2 - Note i'am on AHCI with XP and Seven.
BIOS : AHCI enable, Pnp enable
Everything work with NForceSata, NForceLan, voodoo HDA for sound if you don't have DSDT like me put Apple RTC for the first boot. In my case NVinject for my 8500GT (full QC/CE).

Note : i have test on IDE with iDeneb and Hazard... no luck. Now it's ok BUT i have buy a Sata DVD-Rom, and the IDE bus is not recognize. It's not a big problem but if you try with IDE i think it's not possible.
