Waiting for root device error only affects married HDD's... 
Make sure you have AHCI set in your bios... Pretty sure that resolved my "waiting for root device" error but cause BSOD with my Win installs..
had to "fix" that with a registry edit... post if you need details
I now have a bootable SL OS but no sound, sleep lock ups, and basic VGA resolution... still working on it though. |
