This volume does not meet the requirements for this update.

Someone know if information in file SMBIOS.plist it's relevant to realize UPDATE's???

I have problem's to update my system from 10.6 to 10.6.1 or .2 or .3 (combo), I think, maybe the problem it's identification off my system, because every file to update system from apple send message indicate:

Mac OS X Update Combined can't be installed on this
disk. This volume does not meet the requirements for
this update.

Maybe know or have some idea what happen, why system indicate that, or where it's possible read (log in system) what requirements not meet.

thanks

I just ran into the same problem...and still no answer.
Although I have reason to believe that it is not the SMBIOS.plist as I update any other app without probs (iTunes i.e.) .
I am not able to boot into 64bit either; even after adding arch=x86_64 to the Apple.com.Boot.plst.

So if anybody could please tell us which information is needed in order to troubleshoot.

Cheers
