R0GUE, that's a little bizarre, because Toast 8.3 worked on Rev. 1 for me, and so it does on Rev. 2!
However, it didn't work without QE/CI. All I saw was the app Icon appearing, bumping, and disappearing again

Please post a picture of your System Profiler, which shows the Graphic Card Info.
