Getting problems with processor and display resolution running Mac OS X on L305-S5899
Hello! I saw this thread was being specifically tailored to Toshiba laptops, so I decided to post my questions here. I had a nearly flawless install on my L305-S5899 and I got Mac OS X booted up with mouse, keyboard, and sound. These are all possible under only one condition: I only have one core enabled. If I boot with both cores running (my processor is a Pentium Dual Core T3200) it boots into the OS beautifully and speedy, but my keyboard and mouse don't function at all. I can still control the sound with the volume dial on the front of the laptop to increase and decrease volume easily, and when I do that the volume click/pop sound still works. If I push the power button, it brings up the sleep/shutdown box and hangs up, making the sound effect it makes when it pops up spazz out and repeat itself eternally, so I'm forced to shut it down by holding down the power. Is there any fix for that? I really hope so...
Also, I'd like to know if you found out more about that display kext for the 4500M chipsets that are used in the L305-XXXXX series notebooks because to get the display displaying the correct resolution would be wonderful! I've looked for days, and only found safe mode mods, and that's not good for general use. Thank you! I will do anything I can on my part to help if possible.
