It depends heavily on how usable you want your machine. The key is graphic card support for Quartz Extreme & Core image. These are fundamental for a great deal of applications to even run. I have not seen anyone get the Xpress 200 to support QE/Ci though I have not looked too hard. Flexer lists using Callisto so it looks like he/she attempted to get QE/Ci.
Without this support some apps will not open and you may have other video related problems.
So like I said it depends on what you are using it for. I have used unsupported graphics on a few rigs to playing around but it does limit you. You can discuss with flexer what he/she uses the laptop for and see if it would work for you.
