Can someone confirm that the way we get QI/CE support in OSx86 is to get the same GPU as apple currently offers drivers and then use EFI String to map to that driver?

Therefore, if I want to be sure a card will work, I should only buy a video card that has been offered by Apple in some way, correct?

I am asking as I would like to upgrade my 7600 GT, but hesitate since it has been so rock solid in working with osx86. What about the ATI Radeon 4870 about to released, I assume this will be made to work as easily as the 7600 GT?
