Wanted: AM2+/AM3 Mainboard with AppleHDA solution
Hey there,
Someone out here, who is using an AM2+ or AM3 Mainboard with AMD chipset, who can confirm 1/8" rears for stereo out, Line-In and Mic to work using AppleHDA.kext? Finding capable hardware appears to be very difficult, most cheap mobos ship with VIA shit chips for sound and those with codecs known to work are allmost 100€+X As I have kind of bigger wastage rate of PC components due to often weeks long permanent usage, I don't want to put to much money into secondary PC...^^ When buying some new hardware, I would like to stay without crackle-noise-kernel-panic.kext aka VoodooHDA (and yes I have done that PinConfing Hex Dec shit with VoodooHDA, as well as I did with my current AppleHDA, but was not able to get a statisfying results with the Vooodoo kext...)^^ AMD Phenom II X4 955 - ASRock AM3A770DE - 8GB DDR3-1333 - Radeon HD 5570 1GB passiv - BCM4318 802.11b/g - Snow Leopard Retail
+++ AMD Phenom X3 8450 - ASRock AM2NF6G-VSTA (BIOS L2.39) - 4GB DDR2-800 - Radeon HD 4650 512MB - Snow Leopard Retail (retired) / OpenBSD |

VoodooHDA (AnV, Slice) New version based on Slice's work for Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard: http://rapidshare.com/files/37222536..._Leo_Tiger.zip This version works fine for me, it don't have any noise and I'm able to use mic /192Khz at full volume xd The NAWCOM one VoodooHDA has all the problems 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. System
