Weird issue, when i use a torrent program osx will randomly crash

This only happens with Torrent programs. I have used transmission utorrent vuse and xtorrent.
No other program causes an error. But if i am downloading a torrent it will randomly crash... could be a minute into or could be hours later. This doesnt happen with anything else. I have spent hours watching movies making music in ableton live and reason 5, Surfing the web and even playing games.

I am running OS X 10.6.8 in 32-bit mode

My hack is

Weird bug, I never had kernel panic cause of torrent software. It probably has something to do with your network adapter.
I would try the following:
1. download newest chameleon loader and try using "ethernet built in"
2. search the networks kategory on kexts.com, maybe there are new kexts for your hardware
3. check which kernel you are using.. and try the 10.6.8 Legacy Kernel from Nawcom http://www.kexts.com/view/1413-nawco...or_10.6.r.html
